Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Squishko ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use any game published by Squishko (each a "Game") on the Amazon Appstore or any other store. It is a single policy for all of our Games.
1. The short version
- No ads and no advertising SDKs.
- No accounts, no sign up and no email collection.
- No analytics, no tracking and no crash reporting services.
- Our Games do not collect, send or share any personal data. We never sell data.
- Optional in-app purchases are processed by Amazon, not by us.
- The Games work offline.
2. Data stored on your device
Game progress such as finished levels, unlocked items, your cat's outfits and creations, coins and sound settings is saved only on your device in the Game's private storage. The list of unlocked in-app items is also kept on the device so the Game works offline. We run no game servers and we cannot see this data. Uninstalling the Game deletes it.
3. Advertising, analytics and tracking
Our Games contain no ads, no advertising identifiers, no analytics and no third party tracking of any kind. They have no chat, no social network features and no way for players to share personal information with other people.
4. Amazon Appstore and in-app purchases
Our Games use the Amazon Appstore SDK so that Amazon can confirm the Game was obtained from the Amazon Appstore (license check). Some Games also offer optional extra content as one-time in-app purchases. Purchases are handled entirely by Amazon In-App Purchasing through the Amazon Appstore on your device. Amazon processes the payment and tells the Game only which items are unlocked. We never receive your name, payment details or Amazon account credentials. Prices, payment, refunds and Amazon's parental controls are governed by Amazon's own terms and privacy notice.
5. Parents and purchases
Where a Game offers purchases, the shop is protected by a parent gate (a question a grown up must answer) so children do not buy anything by accident. On devices with Amazon Kids or parental controls, a parent may also need to approve the purchase in Amazon's own system.
6. Permissions
Our Games request no special permissions. They do not access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone or location.
7. Children
Our Games are made for kids and families. Because the Games do not collect any personal information, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your country). If you believe a child has sent us personal information, for example by email, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Emails you send us
If you write to our support address, we use your email address and message only to answer you, and we delete the conversation when it is no longer needed. We never add you to a mailing list.
9. This website
This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no trackers. Its fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives the technical request data (such as IP address) that any web server receives.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA) you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data. Since our Games do not collect personal data, there is nothing for us to export or erase on our side. Your game data stays on your device until you uninstall the Game. 11. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date above and post the new policy on this page.
